Watching love?
You know it’s funny that people watch love.
That it is so in absence that people have to watch it.
When I say love it is not just the kind of lusty sordid love.
But friendship love,lover’s love,parental love and of course gay love..
We are all so desperate for love that we watch people creating love on movies.
Just a little background, I came from an asian family where love is not expressed freely.
Usually it is expressed in a loud high pitch voice that cuts through the air like a machine gun saying,” Son go mop the floor or eat your dinner!”
And that’s all no hugs or deep conversation, the deepest that you could ever venture was,” What are your plans? Junior College or Polytechnic?And you better get into University.
And just when you are about to make love, you’ll receive a loud knock on your door accompanied with,” Don’t ever lock that door!”
Then you think to yourself, no wonder people have to watch love when making love becomes so bloody difficult!
